Blackberry and Blueberry Pie
This fantastic pie, which has a wonderful flavor combination, can be made both in the summer with fresh berries and in the winter with frozen ones.

When the shortening is the size of small peas, cut it into 2 cups of flour and salt.

To moisten the flour, add water 1 tablespoon at a time.

Form into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for at least 30 minutes.

On a board that has been lightly dusted with flour, roll out half of the dough.

With the pastry, line a 9-inch pie plate.

Lay the top crust out and reserve.

Set oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees C)
