Jam Tarts
Dollop your favorite jam onto circles of homemade pastry to make these cute jam tarts that are not only easy but also tons of fun to make with kids!
In a food processor, combine salt, sugar, and flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Water should be added, then mix until a ball forms.
Pastry should be chilled thoroughly for at least 30 minutes.
Set the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C).
24 shallow muffin tins need grease.
With a cookie cutter, cut rounds out of thinly rolled pastry.
Put each circle inside a muffin cup.
To each cup, add 2 teaspoons of jam.
Bake for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown, in the preheated oven.
