This classic recipe for rich strawberry cake that uses Jell-O® and white cake mix is incredibly simple to make.

Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).

Three 8-inch cake pans should be greased and floured.

In a big mixing bowl, combine cake mix, gelatin mix, oil, eggs, and strawberries.

Into the prepared cake pans, divide equally.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Take the food out of the oven and give it about 30 minutes to cool completely.

Butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar are manually combined in a bowl while the cakes are cooling.

For about 20 minutes, chill.

Frosting should be chilled and fluffy.

Cake layers are sandwiched with frosting.

Remaining frosting should be applied to the top and sides.
