Three-Ingredient Shortbread Cookies
Only three ingredients are needed to make these simple shortbread cookies: butter, superfine sugar, and flour.
Set the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 degrees C).
Foil should be used to line a 9-inch square pan, leaving an overhang on all sides.
With a spoon, combine the butter and sugar until the mixture resembles sand.
Add the flour gradually.
Dough should be worked into a crumbly, not smooth, state.
The prepared pan’s bottom should be covered with dough.
Take a fork and poke it all over.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until set.
While it’s still warm, score with a knife.
Remove the foil, then allow the cookies to cool on a rack.
When completely cooled, break apart along the cut lines.
