Make Ahead French Toast
For 24 years, we have served French toast for Christmas brunch. It’s a product of the East Coast originally. Reduce the milk if you prefer your French toast more firm.
Whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, and vanilla in a large bowl.
Placed in a 9×13 inch baking pan that has been lightly greased, bread slices are dipped in the egg mixture.
the following morning Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
Combine butter, sugar, maple syrup, and pecans in a small bowl.
Mixture over the bread.
For about 40 minutes, bake in a preheated oven until golden.
