Pecan Pie Bites from Scratch
For a new family favorite during the holidays, let your kids help you prepare these simple pecan pie bites.
Cream cheese and butter for the crust should be smoothed out using an electric mixer.
Flour should be added and thoroughly combined.
Dough should be covered and chilled for an hour.
Set the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 degrees C).
Take the dough out of the fridge.
Apply nonstick spray to a 24-cup mini-muffin tin.
In a bowl, thoroughly combine the brown sugar, egg, melted butter, and vanilla for the filling.
Make twenty four 1-inch balls out of the dough.
Each ball should be pressed into a muffin cup so that it covers the bottom and the sides evenly.
Place roughly the same amount of the egg mixture on top of each muffin cup after adding 1 teaspoon of the pecans.
