Turn leftover bread and leftover eggnog into something beyond ‘leftovers’ during this holiday season using this bread pudding recipe.

Set oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees C).

Butter should be used liberally to grease a 9×12-inch baking dish.

The prepared baking dish’s bottom should be covered with bread.

Over the slices of bread, distribute the apple pieces evenly.

In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks and eggnog together; pour over the bread and apples.

Wrap the dish in aluminium foil.

Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until browned and somewhat set in the middle.
